DULUX AMBIANCE 5IN1 PAINT SAFETY FOR HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT

• Keep out of reach of children, food, drink and animal feed.
• Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Wear appropriate gloves, mask and eye protection during application. When paint gets into your eyes, immediately wash your eyes several times with clean water and see a doctor immediately. In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water or an appropriate hand sanitizer. If the paint is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately and bring the paint can or label.
• Dry sanding, cutting or welding of the dry paint film will create dust and toxic fumes. Wet sanding should discharge if possible. If exposure to toxic fumes cannot be avoided despite the use of a fume extraction system, appropriate respiratory protection should be used. Avoid breathing vapors and mists of paint. Use only in well-ventilated areas.
• Re-apply any remaining paint on the brush or roller before washing. Avoid paint waste in the environment. Do not empty into drains or water. Dispose of used paint cans by local regulations. Do not reuse paint cans to store food or beverages.

Prepare the surface before painting

Make sure the paint surface is clean, dry, and free of impurities that reduce adhesion such as dust, grease or wax. The moisture content of the surface is below 16% according to the Protimeter moisture meter or let the wall surface dry from 21 to 28 days under normal conditions (average temperature 300oC, environmental humidity 80%).

• Paint application tools: Brush, roller, paint sprayer.
• Surface drying time: 30 minutes and 2nd coat of paint after 2 hours in normal weather conditions (average temperature 300oC, ambient humidity 80%).
• Note: Do not apply paint when the temperature is lower than 100oC (Number of coats: 2 coats).
• Mixing paint: Not more than 10% clean water.
• Stir well before use.
• Cleaning: Rinse tools with clean water immediately after use.
• Storage: Store paint in a cool, dry place. Place the paint can in a safe, upright position and close the lid tightly. Use right after opening.
• For optimal cleaning performance, the paint film should be allowed to dry completely for 1-2 weeks after application. Stains will be easier to clean if the wall surface is smooth and there are quick and timely treatment measures when the wall is dirty. Wall stains can be cleaned with diluted soap and a soft cloth. After cleaning the stain, dry the paint film with a dry cloth while the surface is still wet.
